I wasn’t planning to build a workstation this year — definitely not one shaped like a coffin.

But this one… this one wouldn’t leave me alone.

Every idea. Every project. Every strange hum from the corner of the studio — it all pointed back here. To something that shouldn’t exist... but wanted to.

The guys at the shop have been calling it The Coffin — mostly as a joke. I didn’t correct them.

Now, no one jokes when it hums.

Sapele and steel, sure. But there’s something else running through it now — something that wasn’t in the plans.

It’s not finished yet. Tomorrow’s the final assembly. And maybe it’s better that way.
